WHAT DOES THE P.T.O. DO?
Parent-Teacher Organizations meet together, study problems, support teachers and school staff in the community and
become informed on issues regarding our children and youth.
WHY SHOULD I GET INVOLVED?
Becoming involved in your P.T.O. gives parents a chance to have a voice in many decisions that affect your child and
your neighborhood.
HOW CAN I BENEFIT?
Attending one or many P.T.O. meetings can provide you with opportunities to meet and talk with other parents
who want to become more involved in their children's school environment. Becoming active in your P.T.O. provides the
opportunity to serve, to volunteer and to contribute to something very important - our children. Plus, the P.T.O. will introduce
you to a great variety of new activities where you can show off your special talents and give you a chance to meet other parents,
teachers and school staff outside of the classroom.
